Hello!
Thanks to all who stayed with us this past weekend and had a blast with BSU! We really enjoyed you all and you deserve a round of applause for being so well behaved! Hopefully our galleries section of the site gets up soon and you can start viewing all of the fun memories of the 09-10 year for BSU... but for now, you can befriend us on Facebook and look into the hundreds of photos we have on there! =)
Any who, the purpose of this post is to update you on BSU's New Semester Meeting Location, which is in Hyland 2101. That's on the second floor, right wing area (if you're coming in from the front). It will appear to be an auditorium with an inclined floor, so you can't really miss it (or can you?) !
Lastly, be sure to attend this week's events, as shown at the previous BSU Meeting (i.e. Portraits of Courage, etc.)
That's all for today folks!
Have a great Monday and see YOU tomorrow at 5:15 Pm in Hyland!

Welcome Back BSU!
Hello and welcome back to campus!
We hope that all has been well with you and that you are ready for another amazing semester with the Black Student Union family, because even in the first week back we're going all out!
Of course this Tuesday at 5:15 pm is our FIRST BSU MEETING of the semester in the Old Main Ballroom! So be there, or you will miss out on lots of important information about getting involved in this week's activities and more! Our second BSU meeting will be held in Hyland Hall room 2101, so be sure to remember that you heard it here first.
On wednesday will be the MLK Commemorative Event to celebrate the life and legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr., hosted by Academic Support Services. The Black Student Union will be there. Pay close attention to this week's e-mail(s) for important details!
Thursday is our first BSU Party of the Year, which means you certainly want to get there early, because its sure to reach capacity before midnight! People are known for wanting to get the partying out of there system before the semester gets serious!
The first Weekend In Whitewater of 2010 will be this Friday January 22-Saturday January 23, 2010. Join us for a wonderful week with your BSU Family.
Also:
Happy Martin Luther King, Jr. Day! Make sure you take a moment to recognize today's significance, for Dr. King isn't only a major significance to BSU, but he is to YOU. Imagine what life in America would be today if people like him never decided to take a stand for what was right and just. Imagine being segregated from each other on a campus just like this one due to the color of your skin... So take a moment and reflect to yourself on what this day is to you and those around you.
Take Care, and stay posted!

BSU Website Redesigned!
Hello everyone!
Welcome to the brand new Black Student Union website of the 2009-2010 school year, where you can find almost all the information you need about BSU on the campus of UW-Whitewater!
The current webmaster (and BSU President) is working on the site at the moment, so it is still in development. However, don't let that stop you from taking a free tour around and getting a feel for things. Have fun!
Take note of the "Quick Calendar" for Upcoming Events in the bottom right portion of the screen. Check there to stay up to date with BSU Events each month.
Take care!
